Can you spot him 🔎? This is our elusive sandfis Can you spot him 🔎? This is our elusive sandfish skink! ☀️🌵 This little guy is super easy to take care of and super fun to watch when you can spot him. Sandfish skinks are hardy and are happy in a 20g long minimum, with 40 being a more proper size. They like their basking spot to be in the mid-hundreds range (130F-140F) and their tank temp around 80F-90F, and they're strictly insectivores so food is an easy feat 🦎 They spend most of their time buried under the sand but come up to eat when they feel the vibration of food across the top of the sand. Since they're built to shovel through the sand with their pointy faces, they aren't the best pets to handle but they are a great addition to any home 🏠.
